The scope of this contract was the securing of the Storr Spring on the Isle of Skye, together with the replacement of the first 250m of the raw main downstream of the new intakes. The temporary works required the provision of a temporary supply source to be used by Scottish Water as required, during the construction. This temporary source was then linked into the existing supply via 250m of new temporary main.

This Contract was awarded first prize in the criteria of "Outperforming the Capital Programme" at the recent 2005 Scottish Water Solutions awards ceremony in Edinbrugh.
